Welcome to the Baldwin Care Center!

Baldwin Care Center is a 50 bed not-for-profit nursing facility that has been providing health services since 1972. The Baldwin Care Center provides care for many types of residents including those who require dementia care, short-term rehabilitative services, management of chronic illnesses and palliative/hospice services. Numerous private rooms are available. Baldwin Care Center is Medicare and Medicaid certified. The facility also has contracts with various insurance companies and managed care organizations that may also provide coverage for a stay.

A full time on-site rehabilitation team including a speech therapist, physical therapist, physical therapy assistant, occupational therapist and occupational therapy assistant provide rehabilitation services. Our sub-acute medical and rehabilitation services are geared toward community return. In addition to rehabilitative services, the Baldwin Care Center provides dental, optometry, podiatry and audiology services on campus. Primary care physicians make regular rounds on campus to provide services to residents.

Baldwin Care Center staff encourage residents to participate in social, spiritual, recreational and educational activities. Daily programming is provided to meet the needs of all individuals. There are family visiting areas both indoors and outdoors, available to residents and families. Transportation is available not only to medical appointments, but for family events, shopping and other special outings.

Dining services staff plan tasty nutritious meals. Residents can make choices from several menu options at each meal. Liberalized menus are offered to fulfill both the nutritional needs and the freedom of choice for residents. Mealtimes are flexible to allow residents to eat at a time they prefer. Assistance is provided for varying needs and abilities.
